Sorry , this isn't the best footage of Lucy,
an amazing Egyptian belly dancer and actress with real career longevity.
Dina is arguably the biggest Egyptian bellydance star today. She
is known for her very sensual, almost deconstructed style of modern
bellydance. She is an aquired taste, so take the time to aquire

Soraya Zaied is a Brazilian dancer who has risen to the top of
the Cairo scene.
Suzy is an Egyptian belly dancer making a name for herself in Cairo.
Amani
of Lebanon is one of the biggest dance stars in the Middle East.
Samara, a popular belly dancer in Lebanon.
Orit is probably the most
famous dancer in Israel today.
Dandesh, a young Egyptian dancer who was making a big name for
herself, but has recently retired.
Nour is a Russian dancer who has become a star in Cairo.
Didem is a dancer in Turkey. Her style is more international than
Turkish.
Bellydance
Stars from outside the Middle-East:
Amir Thaleb is Argentina's
most famous belly dancer.
Saida is the other top dancer
in Argentina and was one of Amir Thaleb's students.
Cory
Zamora is a well known belly dancer from California. This clip
is a great example of Classic American Cabaret veil work.
Jillina might be the most
successful belly dancer in the world today. She had a terrific career
as a nightclub dancer in L.A. and has gone on to lead the Bellydance
Superstars. Don't get hung up on the costume, just tell yourself
it is cute and be done with it.

Aziza is one of the most active instructors on the international
workshop scene.
Rachel Brice is
the world's most famous Tribal-Fusion dancer. She is from California.
Lulu Sabongi is one of
the biggest dancers in Brazil. She and Raqia Hassan trained Soraya
Zaeid, a current star in Egypt.
Tamalyn Dallal is one
of the most influential dancers in Florida. She trained lots of
famous dancers including Bozenka, Amar Gamal, and Virginia.
Hadia, currently based in Montreal,
is probably the best known Canadian dancer.
This is a very short clip from Fat

This style is a style of Morrocan dance that is related to bellydance,
